Nothing exciting to report

So I was hoping to wait for something interesting to report, but things have been pretty slow around here! I had 4 patients scheduled this morning, 2 cancelled and 2 didn't bother to show up, so I'm pretty bored at work. Todd and I were planning on starting our Christmas shopping tonight and go out to dinner, but we're expecting a snowstorm so we'll have to play it by ear. So if you have thought of anything else to add to your Christmas list, you should add it now (Sean Purcell).

So let me update you on the not-so-exciting events of our suburban life. Pixie's training is going slow, as expected. This morning she pooped on our entry mat while we shoveled out the cars. This is progress because it means she tried to get to the front door, but she just couldn't wait for us to let her out. The other morning she pooped in her cage, but we didn't know it. She just refused to get out and was laying on the poop because she was ashamed. This is progress because it means she knows it's wrong! I knew you'd all like to hear about that. Maybe when Gabe is potty training Courtney can give us daily updates.

Todd's new band, Canadian Tuxedo, is performing at their first "gig" on Saturday, which is Jason's wife Tina's birthday party (in case you don't know what a Canadian Tuxedo is, I'm posting a picture). We'll let you know how it goes. Tomorrow we're going to get our Christmas tree, which should be fun! I'll take some pictures of our house so those of you that haven't seen it since the renovations can take a look.

My foot is slowly improving, not quite as purple as it used to be, although I still can't move it much. It really puts a damper on wearing fun holiday outfits when I have to wear this giant boot.

Hope you are all enjoying the Holidays! By the way I made a compilation Christmas CD using all our favorite CDs. Let me know if you want a copy!
